UPDATE ON WATCH FIRE MEMORIAL - CANCELLATION

After meeting with the founders of the Watch Fire Memorial and leadership of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 685, Honor Local Vets and VVA Chapter 685 jointly made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

With additional rain forecasted this weekend and out of respect for the significance of Memorial Day, we believe this sacred tradition should remain connected to the Memorial Day observance rather than be moved to a later date.

While we are disappointed, we remain committed to honoring the legacy of our fallen Veterans and preserving the integrity of this 32-year community tradition.
