Headed by Paymaneh "Bibi" Khalili, DAM Events not only bring top dancers, poets, designers, musicians, and more together for live performances and networking, but also help connect these artists with professional and developmental opportunities outside of show day. We want our Bay Area artists to focus

on what they do best, creating top quality art. Too often, Bay Area artists are forced to move out of the Bay Area in order to connect with professional resources & have ample performance opportunity. Our goal is to bring eyes back to the artists of the Bay Area by creating a high quality, inspiration-inducing showcase.

We loved meeting her at DAMopendecks, and now super excited to have the amazing DJ Kurren$i opening up our DAMhotsummer lineup!

DJ Kurren$i began her DJ journey two years ago with a focus on intentional curation. Her work is rooted in the belief that a DJ does more than play tracks; they act as a bridge between culture and community. DJ Kurren$i creates spaces where people feel connected, using her background in hip hop & r&b to set a seamless, high-vibe atmosphere. For DJ Kurren$i, every set is an opportunity to honor the roots of the music while fostering a shared, electric experience on the dance floor.
