10 years ago, on an early March evening in Oakland, FFE had a fundraiser for the Princess Project at Levende East featuring DJ YoungSoul. 10 years ago *today* FFE hosted the first at Bambuddha Lounge in San Francisco featuring DJ Shug and DJ FUZE. THANK YOU to all of you who have supported FFE over the years in all the many many ways you've been a part of this decade of nightlife and community events "for full bodied ladies and their friends and fans."

At Full Figure Friday, we always encouraged folks to view themselves as Plus Size Royalty. So having Pam The Funkstress/Purple Pam, AKA the Turntable Queen, rock the party at FFE events in SF, Oakland and Vegas meant something incredibly special to us. FFE model Elisa has volunteered to take the lead in helping the FFE fam to pool our donations to Pam's GoFundMe fundraiser. If you would like to join us in contributing to the cost of Pam's medical expenses and memorial services, send funds via PayPal or Venmo to [email protected] by January 5th in order to be included. Funds will be given as "Full Figure Ent and Friends."

The FFE family is heartbroken to hear about the passing of Pam Warren aka Pam The Funkstress/Purple Pam. It was our honor and our pleasure to have Pam rock the party at so many Full Figure Fridays. This is such a tremendous loss for the Hip Hop community at large, the entire Bay Area, and anyone who ever got to experience just how full of life and fun Pam could be on the turntables and off. Our hearts go out to all Pam's fans and admirers, and especially to her family and friends. We love you, Pam. 💜
