I wanted a way to bridge the gap between Communion and Studio 84 - my other two clubs. There was music people loved but it didn’t fit at either of them. Thus was born The Alternative! in June 2018. It is in many ways a combination of the very “gothy”/industrial Communion and New Wave/Synthpop wonder Studio 84. Music at The Alternative focuses on all that great alternative music since 2000.
