It is with great sadness that we report the demise of Robert Garay; he, his sister, Mary Esther Marin and their extended family were regular patrons and friends. The Fountain Room closed in 2012 but we still live on FB.

The Fountain Room was neighborhood bar from March 1953 - November 2008. Many significant historic events occurred at the fountain room, including founding of La Raza Unida Party.
