Mason Creek Formed in 2015, "Mason Creek" is a traditional - contemporary bluegrass band from the Roanoke/Salem, VA area.

Founded in 2015, "Mason Creek" features four "well seasoned" artists of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. The Salem/Roanoke, Virginia based group features veteran performers, Gary John, guitar, Timmy Rhodes, banjo, Glenn Scaggs, bass and vocals, and Ernie Power on dobro. The band's long history has included some of the finest members and fill-ins the area has to offer. Original members

, Gary, Shannon Wheeler, Brandon Dickerson, and Mark Ramsey. The band has been through some changes, but always constant on bringing the best bluegrass in the area. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie Bowman, who went to be with the Lord today at 2:55 CST. One of the greatest singers and songwriters in Bluegrass and Country music, and one of the kindest souls you could ever hope to know. Prayers for his family and friends. We'll always love you, Ronnie. 💔
