The Starlet Room Sacramento's upstairs home for live underground music in connection with the iconic Harlow's in Midtown Sacramento

What started as a block of apartments became a cigar bar, which then became a dance club. The upstairs room above the beloved Sacramento music venue Harlow’s has gone through many iterations in its time. It will be going through one more as a live music and entertainment venue called The Starlet Room. We intend to keep the same art deco theme, timeless ambience and high quality of events we host t

hat are associated with Harlow’s, named for ‘30s Hollywood icon Jean Harlow, for this new venture with The Starlet Room. The process of turning the space into a music and entertainment venue has already begun. The amount of live shows we have hosted upstairs has risen steadily in the past few years with acts such as Blu & Exile, Y La Bamba, Adrian Bellue and many more having performed in the space. We will keep this trend going by supporting the many local artists in town and hosting incredible touring talent as they stop by Sacramento. We have worked hard to make this space of former homes into a home of a different kind, The Starlet Room.
