Mr. Thrill DJ PLUS This is Mr. Thrill DJ PLUS Facebook site. "My name is Bill Harris. I am the owner of Mr. Thrill DJ PLUS. I named the company Mr. I love what I do.

Thrill DJ PLUS because I am more than a wedding DJ. I offer multiple entertainment options, lighting options, and referral services. I am a professional entertainer and know what is needed for different events, how to get people dancing, laughing, and just having a good time. Many times at an event, an entertainer is not needed but someone who can follow directions, speak clearly, and honor the wi

shes of those who have contracted his/her services. I strive to do the best job possible for my clients, meeting with them ahead of time, before the event, working with them online, and interacting with them on the day of the reception or party to make a great event! I play publically around once a month doing a lounge act.I generally DJ/MC 4-6 events a month. Also offering virtual performances throughout the country.”

Living 4.27.26

I woke up this morning about 7:00am. I drank a couple of cups of coffee. Did the wordle. Went back to bed.

This weekend I had two events, one a private 60th party at a beautiful ranch in Belton.

Sunday morning I was at the Buda Wiener Dog Races. That was a lot of fun.

The humidity was 85% and temp was 80 degrees. I got overheated on the trailer stage. I finished the show and took it easy the rest of the day.

I have a Tuesday Neil Diamond show at a wonderful retirement home in Georgetown, and then drive to The Metroplex for a repeat college reunion Elvis show on Wednesday.

Living as an ETA 11.8.25

I'm on the road to recovery after a successful Y90 liver embolization procedure on 10.31 in Denver. The surgery was a success, and I've overcome the toughest part. By cutting off blood supply and delivering radiation, the medical team targeted the largest tumor in my liver.

Full recovery takes a few weeks. I underwent a similar procedure last year, a splenic embolization, which helped increase my platelet count by reducing spleen function. Although the recovery was challenging, it was effective.

My next procedure is scheduled for 12.16 in Denver, a bland embolization that will target the remaining liver tumors. This procedure will be less intensive than the Y90.

As someone who's been healthy most of my life, navigating cancer treatments, managing side effects, and combating fatigue has been a new experience. Since my diagnosis in 9.22, I've lost 20lbs, from 195lbs to 175lbs, but I'm still within a healthy BMI range.

I'm adapting to the changes in my body. My suits no longer fit, so I've ordered a new one from https://proelvisjumpsuits.com/ and plan to order another in the coming months.

I own six suits, each costing between $1000-$2000 each including belts and boots.

I don’t how long I can keep doing this, but sometimes we do things without perfect circumstances.

I taught for 25 years, and picked up this Elvis hat 10-12 years into teaching, and developed a great
Part time income that allowed me to retire and work my entertainment business.

I assume I can do this for a few more years but the time will come to hang up my boots.

But that day is not today. I’m still marketing what I do and I get 100s of leads for Elvis and other, and I get referrals from previous gigs. Surprisingly I’m still able to pull off a great show and make people happy. I don’t try to get all those leads; I’ve learned the right leads and bookings come to me. I don’t try to make it happen anymore.

Thank you for following me on this journey. Thank ya very much

Living with Cancer as an Elvis 10.7.25

People ask me how I got started doing this, and mostly they are asking about Elvis.

At around 40 I joined an acoustic group, and then we added drums and tried to get some gigs. It was hard at first. Our first NYE as a band was in my living room. It was fun.

I was doing a lot of calling around and we get gigs here and there.

I had always sang in choirs in school and then in church and now I am a bar star.

The internet moved me into DJing. I bought an ad on gigmasters which is now the Bash. I got DJ gigs pretty easy and the money was 2-4 times more that I was making in a band. Advertising on the internet opened up a whole new business world.

In stead of counting on my friends and families to come see my gig, now i could do private parties and weddings

Then I saw a lot of guys doing solo with guitar and then I saw the Elvis tribute artist, where the Elvis used tracks.

I was teaching at the time and I realized I could make more in an hour that I could make in a whole day of teaching.

I retired almost 8 years ago from teaching and have been doing this Elvis DJ business for going on 25 years. My plan was to retire from teaching and work this business part time. It has been working g pretty well.

Now three years ago I got pNET cancer which is slow growing cancer. It’s a fight, but I’m glad I have my business to make extra money and it’s makes people happy.
