Due to cancellations of events in the area I have decided to close Grifter's for two days to monitor how the Covid-19 situation develops.

I am doing this because I have no employees to worry about keeping financially afloat so I feel a sense of responsibility to follow suit and be overly cautious for my customers.

I fully understand some businesses choose to stay open and I support that.

My place is different because of its small intimate atmosphere which limits me on following the suggested OHA social distancing measures, so I am choosing to be overly cautious during the first few days of cases developing in the state of Oregon.

I do not wish to alarm anyone I just wish to be extremely overly cautious to minimize the impact on the community and my friends.

I am hoping that this is no big deal and the music will go on as usual next weekend.

I'll either be posting that I am open Monday at 4pm or posting further updates about a possible continued closure.
