Our longtime bar star manager Brittany is moving on from the Jasper in a few months & we can’t believe her epic chapter here is coming to a close. As you may have guessed, we need to fill this role so we are now accepting resumes for applicants seeking to empower & support one of the best teams to have ever done it. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, with empathy, professionalism, organization and is an all around team player. We need someone who is committed to a high level of service, a high level of quality and has a background in bartending and management. We use Toast POS, Slack, 7Shifts & spreadsheets among other systems, any experience with these systems will be considered a bonus! This is a full time position & it is expected that you will work at minimum 3 shifts on the bar and floor per week. Compensation for the role will be a combination of base pay, admin stipend & tips. It's difficult to give an exact number due to the multiple types of compensation the role receives, but we can share that staff at The Jasper typically average $30-32/hr inclusive of tips / base pay & we structure the pay of the bar manager to earn between $33-35 per hour with tips & all other income components included. We also offer a PTO program, parental leave, contributory health insurance & a robust company discount.
Responsibilities will include:
• Managing a large Front of House team.
• Collaborating & coordinating with our Back of House & Bar Prep teams
• Managing & ordering a large inventory of spirits, b**r, w**e & other essential non-alcohol items
• Scheduling
• Weekly reporting & forecasting
• Managing special events
