Dearest Reedsburg Family! Adam here..
It has been an unbelievable journey for me at Kessler’s, however my time is coming to an end. The past 4 years have been the most amazing, challenging and rewarding years of my life. It has been an honor to represent the Kessler name and I’m incredibly grateful to Tracy Kessler for giving me this opportunity. The lounge bar itself has some of the most beautiful and unique aesthetics to be found, formerly being F&M Bank, and there is no place like it in our surrounding community. As one-of-a-kind as the bar is itself, the most special part to me has been developing friendships with so many wonderful people. Strangers became friends, friends became family..
From day 1, developing a culture and environment where individuals felt welcome and appreciated was always my top priority. The love and care that I tried to share with everyone, has been reciprocated ten-fold to me and I will cherish those memories and relationships for the rest of my life.
From blueberry mojitos to raspberry moscow mules, charcuterie boards with Carr Valley cheese to creating a Food-Truck-Family, baby and bridal showers, surprise birthday parties, class reunions, and even a wedding, I always made quality, consistency and the genuine spirit of hospitality the foundation of my approach. I woke up everyday trying to be just a little bit better than the day before. Based on the love and support I was shown throughout my journey, I believe this was accomplished.
Even as I write this farewell my emotions are telling me just how blessed and lucky I was to be able to grow this special lounge bar to one of the best in Sauk County. Again, I truly appreciate Tracy and Patti Kessler for their love and support, and it was an absolute honor to represent their family and the legend that was Bob Kessler. His “Perfect 300 Bowling Game” was the first in Reedsburg history. Everyday I looked at his picture and signatured bowling pin atop the bar and strove to make them all proud.
I would also be very remiss to not recognize and thank my amazing, loving and supportive parents that had my back through thick and thin. I would be nowhere without you!
There are also a plethora of people and families deserving of individual thanks, but as to not leave anyone out I will simply place a blanket of gratitude to you all. You know who you are!
My last day will be none other than the St. Paddy’s Bar Buddies Crawl next Saturday 3/15, and I can’t think of a better way to go out in style. I’ll be rocking my green Ireland sweater and lucky cap, and would love it if all my friends and family stop by for one last hurrah. I’m not leaving the area, but am moving on to the next chapter in my professional career.
From the bottom of my heart, Cheers!
Adam ❤️🍻🍀
