It’s unfortunate what transpired Friday night. However, on behalf of the staff, management and establishment we are not “transphobic” and or discriminatory towards ANY walk of life. There is a high percentage of LGBTQ customers in our establishment every night AfterHours is open. We all share friends, family and colleagues who are Gay, Straight, Le***an, Bisexual, Transgender, Cisgender and so on and so forth. Some of us have been predisposed to these lifestyles at a young age. This is a family business who’s background started as owners and operators of a popular gay club in Providence. 80% of the floor and door staff have been with us since and we also employ many people from the gay community. In the last 24 hours we have since apologized copious amounts of times to the parties involved. They once again came in as guests last night where we sat down and went through the night prior and ironed everything out. It is 2018, people are changing, there is no such thing as normal, however, others are still learning. We can be whatever we want, and NO ONE can take that from us. We welcome and support all. We are a safe and secure environment and we want no one to feel out of place.
