Current obsession: crème de noyaux. (Made from stone fruit pits - tastes like almonds.) Long-time obsession: anything from | Come try the JOCKEY CLUB in honor of the upcoming Travers Race. It’s a 1930’s-era cocktail from the Savoy Cocktail Book (from the family of squirrel sours).

2 oz. gin
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. crème de noyaux
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes Angostura bitters
(We omit the simple syrup.)

Not much to look at, but come September 20th, it will be a treat to drink. The first time we had 🍒 cherry bounce was at in San Francisco (one of our favorite bars in the city). It’s a drink created by early American settlers who threw these juicy stone fruits into a spirit of their choice. We used rye whiskey and can’t wait for late September beach days, light sweaters and some cherry bounce at the bar. Here’s lookin at you fall. 😉

Come cool off with a low ABV cocktail: the APRICOT RICKEY (lime juice, soda water, apricot liqueur). The original Rickey was named after Democratic Missouri lobbyist, Col. Joe Rickey at Shoomaker’s Saloon in Washington D.C. Rickey’s can be made non-alcoholic, low ABV or we can throw in a spirit of your choice! We love getting stoned fruits. Cheers!
