Dear dancers, my apologies for the long silence. It’s been a while and a lot has happened for many of us over the past couple of years. I miss you all but am also unfortunately unable to host at this time. I have made the difficult decision therefore to retire Wednesday Tango. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to all who have supported us…. all the DJ’s, teachers, dancers, musicians, co-hosts and many many volunteers. THANK YOU! And, after almost 20 years, it would be a shame if we didn’t have a giant thank you celebration party. This is in the works and I will post more when I am able. Until then, big hugs, happy dancing and cheers to keeping the spirit of alt alive!

***NO WEDNESDAY TANGO UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE***

Dear tango fans,
We take the safety of the community very seriously. Considering the current COVID-19 situation, it is critical that we all work together as a team to do what we can to best care for one another and help stop the spread of this virus. With this in mind, we have decided to temporarily postpone our weekly dance. We will keep you updated on developments via email and our Wednesday Tango FB page. Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly with any questions.

In the interim, as a community, we are also looking into creating a donation opportunity to help support those that are hit hardest at this time. Please stay tuned for more information.

Our hearts are with everyone and we hope you stay safe and healthy.

Jan 1: No Tango (Holiday Break)

Jan 8: Special guest DJ + instructor Dominic Bridge.

Jan 15: Special Event: Mixing it up!
*If you’ve never been to Wednesday Tango, come join us on Jan 15th for only $5.
*Extra guided practica and intermediate lesson by Hannah Grenfell downstairs (beginners lesson 7:30-8:30 with Katy Wong upstairs)
*2-song sets for the first hour plus ~10pm we’ll include an extra mixer to help us all meet new dancers

Jan 22: DJ Hannah Grenfell & all-levels class with Katy Wong

Jan 29: Special Event: “Last Wednesday” all-alt dance party!
