Hi everyone!
So...the following is a big announcement we've been holding off on until we had specifics for you:

The Glass Onion Lounge has passed away. (Sniff.)

It was a short life, but it was a good life.
Trust us, she had been overwhelmed by your love, kindness and enthusiasm, and so appreciative of your support.

Truth is, as we spent some time in the neighborhood, getting to know you all better and seeing what might be some of the neighborhood's needs/desires, our vision of what this place could be shifted, and Glass Onion just didn't feel like it was just the right fit.

As our vision began to broaden, we were blessed to have chef Vallery Markel join us! Vallery has spent years working in Portland kitchens you know and love, like Oven & Shaker and Pok Pok, and she is OBSESSED with Pizza.

OBSESSED. WITH. PIZZA.

It just so happens...we have pizza ovens!

We are now East Glisan Pizza & Lounge.

We'll be serving small plates, pizza & libations (vegan and gluten free options too), and we've created a space for families to have the option of dining with us.

Please will you like our East Glisan page? Look for updates over there - a lot is happening in the next couple of weeks!

We promise no more changes. We ordered a sign and everything, so you know we mean it.

East Glisan is just a couple of weeks away from opening our doors and we can't wait to see you there!

People it's the last weekend to witness the "before". Sunday night The Wild Boar will be put down, paper covers the windows and renovations begin.
