Doors are open for Miracle at Deadshot 2025!! This will be our final year in this location, but don’t worry, we will be back next year. Reservations are currently open through the end of November and can be made via .

On that note, every year we hear the same thing from our guests, that reservations are very hard to get, which can be true but you don’t need a reservation to visit Miracle. In fact we keep more space open for walk-ins than we put online to be reserved.

That being said, between now and the end of November you can often come in and enjoy a cocktail and some food with little to no wait. Weekdays are better than weekends but the closer we get to Xmas the busier it gets. Hope to see you soon!

Let’s make it a busy one!

Our final day is Saturday and then we will be closed for a week before we open back up for our Miracle pop up.

It’s been great seeing everyone these last few weeks and hearing about how much you have enjoyed what we’ve been doing the last 7 and a half years in this space. This chapter ends on Saturday, so swing through for one last drink while you still can. Cheers

Getting down to the final stretch. As of today only 21 more services left so if you’ve been thinking of swinging by for one of two last visits. Now is the time!

Pictured is the last original new cocktail to grace our menu. From the mind of we present to you The Contortionist - w/ Spanish Gin, Tequila, génépi & honeydew cordial.

Everything is batched and forced carbonated for maximum effervescence. Expect to see some of our most loved cocktails from the past hit the menu later this week and next to finish out our run.

Thanks to everyone who came out for wing week last week, it was a busy one. Only 5 more weeks of service so if you were putting off coming in do it while you still can.

We will be closed next Monday for a private event. FYI

Working on our ‘all stars’ cocktail menu so you will start to see some old favorites hit the menu. The red cabbage Negroni came back last week.

Well…we had a good run.

Long post, but bear with me.

There’s no easy way to say this: after more than seven years on our little corner of SE Portland, Deadshot will be closing its doors at the end of 2025.

This decision wasn’t made lightly. The truth is simple—sales just aren’t there anymore, while costs keep climbing. Between inflation, the state of the economy, and our “fearless leadership” in DC, the restaurant business hasn’t exactly been set up to thrive. One big repair bill could sink us, and we’d rather bow out on our own terms than wait for the floor to drop out.

Our last ‘regular’ service will be Saturday, November 8th. After that, Deadshot will close for a bit so we can prep for Miracle, which isn’t going anywhere. It’s the one part of this business that consistently makes money, so I’ll be carrying it forward at a new location in 2026.

Is this a bummer? Absolutely. But Deadshot was never just a bar—it’s been an idea, a place where creativity ran wild, where strangers became regulars, and where I got to live out my dream of opening a bar in Portland.

To every guest who sat at the bar, to every staff member who poured their time and energy into this place, and to every industry friend we’ve collaborated with over the years—thank you. You made Deadshot what it is, and I’ll always be grateful.

Deadshot may be closing, but the spirit of it isn’t going anywhere.

Let’s blow the roof off these last two months. Pack the bar, drain the bottles, eat the kitchen out of food, and help us go out in style.
