Everytime I hear from another lgbtq friend that they are homeless or going to be homeless, I fear for them. Not because they are going to be without a home. Not because of drugs. Not because of possible sickness.
I fear for them because they're gay and out there. I fear for them because they are trans and they're out there. I fear for the because they are a le***an and they are out there. I fear for them because they are bi and they're out there. I fear for them because they are q***r and they're out there.
I fear for them because to some, they are an affront to the heterosexual patriarchal society. They are an abomination to bigot. I fear for them because they are born that way and to many, that is wrong. To many, the gay man and trans woman are impeding their abilities to hit on unwanting women. And to many, a le***an is simply an unwanting woman to be hit on and coerced, even to the point of r**e. And to many, trans people are only a fe**sh or a trigger for very poorly guided hatred and violence.
This fleet week, be careful, my friends. And for pride and every week following..... Be careful
