Our Story
Cellar Door is a cocktail bar, nightclub and live music venue open 7 days a week in beautiful historic Port Townsend! Located under the sidewalk in downtown, Cellar has an eclectic and cozy atmosphere with a beatnik, old jazz club essence. We currently serve tapas as a delectable offering to snack on while enjoying a sip and some music. We hope to expand our menu soon to offer delicious, locally sourced Specials as well!
Cellar Door is 6 years old now but has recently been re-opened by new owners who hope to renovate the live music and performance vibe of this unique venue. We create unique, eclectic craft cocktails using the best ingredients and spirits. We offer a number of house-made infusions, syrups, bitters and tonics, and all fresh squeezed juices. We also offer exceptional wines by the glass or bottle; and draft and bottled beers. We will soon revive having live entertainment five-six nights each week, bringing world-class musicians and great events to Port Townsend. Starting soon is our projected schedule. Wednesday evenings @ 9pm - karaoke with Louie's world. Always free! Thursday evenings @ 7pm during summer/6pm during winter - live jazz each week with local and regional groups. Free to all, but remember to tip your musicians! Friday and Saturday evenings - performances of all genres of music, ranging from folk to funk, jazz to punk rock, roots and Americana to Chicago blues. Check our calendar by clicking the link at the top of the page to see what's coming up. Cover charge and schedule vary from night to night. Sunday evenings @ 7pm - smaller, more intimate performances of traditional American music, primarily featuring folk, country, blues and bluegrass. Free to the public, but tipping the musicians is highly encouraged!
