Neon lights. Big drives. Loud music. Cold drinks. And an absolutely electric night at Couples, Clubs & Cocktails: 80s Neon Night.

The golf course was glowing, the outfits were outrageous, and the energy all night long was exactly what this event is all about.
From the first tee shot to the final cocktail, the Port Huron Elks was PACKED with laughs, music, competition, and memories that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. Nights like this are what make this place special.

Thank you to everyone who came out,
dressed up, embraced the theme, and made the evening such a blast. The creativity this year was on another level. Neon everywhere.
Dance moves that probably should stay in the 80s. And enough good vibes to light up the entire golf course.

Rain. Wind. Cold. A little sunshine.

The first ever Spring Shootout at the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 had just about every kind of weather Michigan could throw at us, and our players battled through every second of it. Through three hard-fought matches and an intense Champions Shootout, the competition never stopped and neither did the energy around the club.

Today was everything club golf is supposed to be. Competitive matches. Handshakes after tough holes. Teammates grinding for every point. Friends spending an entire day together at the golf course.

To every player who competed, thank you for making the inaugural Spring Shootout such an incredible success. We also want to thank Chef Wendy and her staff, Melissa and the Social Quarters staff, Superintendent Mark Pringle and his crew, and our entire Golf Shop staff for helping bring this event to life.

An unbelievable atmosphere at the Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 today for the first ever Spring Shootout.

Players have been battling it out all day through three intense 9-hole matches, with only a few teams still standing heading into the Champions Shootout. Competition has been outstanding, but even better has been the energy around the golf course.

Great golf, great people, plenty of laughs, and exactly the kind of day club events are supposed to create. Huge thank you to all of our players along with the staff, grounds crew, kitchen staff, and everyone behind the scenes helping make today happen.

The first Spring Shootout has absolutely delivered. Stay tuned to see who walks away as our inaugural champions.

There is something special about mornings like this.

The air feels a little quieter. The golf course a little more sacred and for 56 players, the possibilities still feel endless.

The inaugural Spring Shootout begins this morning at the Port Huron Elks. Three rounds of match play will test every team before the final few advance to the Champions Shootout, where only two players will earn the right to lift these trophies and become the first names etched into Spring Shootout history.

Some will find momentum early. Others will survive on nerve alone. But by the time the final putt falls this evening, only two champions will remain.

Coffee is on. The range is open and the pursuit of a title begins at 9:00 AM. 🏆

The golf season at the Port Huron Elks is about to hit another gear.

🏆 SATURDAY - SPRING SHOOTOUT
The first ever Spring Shootout takes over the course this Saturday. Teams will battle through THREE 9-hole match play rounds for a chance to advance to the Champions Shootout at the end of the day.

Pressure. Match play drama. Big putts. Trash talk. Survival.

Even if you’re not playing, come out late in the afternoon and watch the Champions Shootout unfold. It’s going to be electric.

The front 9 survived yesterday’s “poke and hope” session and is feeling refreshed.

Today it’s the back 9’s turn - closed until about 2–3 PM for aerification. Please check in with the pro shop before heading out.

And yes…frost delay this morning.
Someone definitely hurt Mother Nature’s feelings, and whoever did, apologize, immediately!!!
