September is shaping up to be a great month of golf at the Port Huron Elks, and we have two events coming up that you won’t want to miss!

September 13 – One-Man Scramble

It’s you, your golf ball, and the golf course! The One-Man Scramble is always a fun change of pace and a great opportunity to compete, enjoy the course, and see what you can put together on your own. Grab your spot and join us for a great day of tournament golf!

September 19 – Mingle with Pringle

This is a BIG one.

The Mingle with Pringle Tournament directly benefits our Grounds Crew Operations, helping provide the equipment, supplies, and resources needed to continue improving and maintaining the golf course we all enjoy.

Our Grounds Crew puts in countless hours behind the scenes throughout the season, often getting to work long before most of us ever arrive at the course. September 19 is our opportunity to come together, support their operation, and have one heck of a day doing it!

Spots are filling fast for both events!

Registration is available through Golf Genius via the Port Huron Elks website. Don’t wait until the last minute, get your group together, get signed up, and help us finish the tournament season strong!

What a way to finish Couples Clubs & Cocktails.

Detroit Sports Night was an absolute blast and the perfect ending to what has been one of our favorite things we’ve done this year.

When Maddy, Emerson, and I sat down before the season, Couples Clubs & Cocktails was simply something new we wanted to try. We wanted to create nights that weren’t just about golf. Different themes, good drinks, good music, a little competition, and most importantly, an excuse to get a bunch of friends together and have a great time.

We had no idea how everyone would respond.

You guys absolutely crushed it.

The participation at every event this summer was incredible. You showed up, dressed for the themes, brought your friends, had some drinks, played some golf, and completely bought into what we were trying to create.

Last night was the perfect example. Detroit Sports Night was an absolute blast and an awesome way to put a bow on our first year.

To everyone who played in one event or all of them — thank you. You made this series what it became.

And now Maddy, Emerson, and I already have the wheels turning for next year.

2027: New themes. Bigger parties. More friends. More fun.

If Year One was any indication, Couples Clubs & Cocktails is just getting started.

COUPLES CLUBS & COCKTAILS — DETROIT SPORTS NIGHT!

Tonight we’re closing out our final (or is it 😉) Couples Clubs & Cocktails of the season, and we’re going out with a bang!

Break out the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, Wolverines, Spartans, Chips — whatever colors you bleed — and come ready for an awesome night at the Elks!

Great golf. Great drinks. Great people. And plenty of Detroit sports pride.

🏆 2026 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP, WHAT A WEEKEND! 🏆

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Port Huron Elks Club Championship, and what an absolutely outstanding weekend of golf.

First, congratulations to our 2026 Club Champions!

🏆 Men’s Club Champion — Ben Davis
🏆 Women’s Club Champion — Heather Jex

Ben put together a championship performance to claim the Men’s title, while Heather delivered outstanding golf all weekend to lock up the Women’s Championship. Congratulations to two very deserving champions!

We’ll be posting the complete Gross Leaderboard, and we want to give a MASSIVE thank you to every single player who teed it up this weekend.

Club Championship golf is different. There’s pressure. There are nerves. Every shot counts. And whether you were chasing a trophy, battling your flight, or simply testing your game against the golf course, you showed up and competed. That’s what makes this event special.

But we absolutely cannot talk about this weekend without talking about the golf course.

MARK PRINGLE AND THE ENTIRE GROUNDS CREW.

What they gave our players this weekend was CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF.

The course was outstanding. The setup was outstanding. The conditions were outstanding.

And what most people never see is what it takes to make that happen.

Long before the first tee went in the ground… long before the first player arrived… Mark and his crew were already out there working.

Mowing. Rolling. Cutting cups. Setting tees. Preparing bunkers. Dialing in every detail. Putting in the hours so that when our players stepped onto that first tee, the golf course was ready to identify a champion.

These guys and girls don’t just maintain our golf course, they take pride in it. And this weekend, it showed on every single hole.

Mark and the Grounds Crew gave our members a golf course worthy of a Club Championship, and they deserve an enormous amount of credit for what we experienced this weekend.

If you enjoyed the golf course this weekend, make sure you tell them. They earned it.

Saturday, September 19th is going to be a GOOD one at the Elks!

We’re getting together for Mingle with Pringle — a day of golf, laughs, good times, and most importantly, a chance to support Mark Pringle and our Grounds Crew!

These are the guys behind the scenes making our course what it is every single day. Proceeds from the event will go toward new equipment, supplies, tools, and other course-maintenance needs to help Mark and the crew keep making the Elks better.

Saturday, September 19th
$100 per player/$400 per team
