If you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift, the search is over.

On Saturday, June 20th, Julep Palm Valley is hosting an intimate evening with Brian Gelfo, founder of Brothers of the Leaf Whiskeys and National Brand Advocate for Saga Spirits.

After years immersed in Kentucky bourbon culture and building relationships with some of the most respected names in the industry, Brian launched Brothers of the Leaf with a passion for creating bold American whiskeys finished in carefully selected barrels to develop distinctive flavor profiles.

Throughout the evening, Brian will guide guests through three premium pours while sharing the stories, decisions, and craftsmanship behind each whiskey. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a welcome cocktail, light bites from V Pizza, and a dessert cocktail to finish the night.

With only 18 seats available, this experience is designed to be personal. Ask questions, hear the stories behind the bottle, and experience the whiskey alongside the person who created it.

Mint juleps were flowing, hats got bigger as the day went on, and for a few hours Palm Valley looked a whole lot more like Churchill Downs. 🥃🏇

Big thanks to everyone who came out, dressed up, drank well, and spent Derby Day with us. And shoutout to the staff, musicians, and everyone behind the scenes who pulled the whole thing together!

Whiskey flights are how curiosity turns into your new favorites.

Borrowed from wine tasting traditions, flights began gaining traction in the late 20th century as bars and distilleries looked for a better way to educate drinkers. Side-by-side pours made it easier to compare regions, age statements, cask finishes, and styles — without committing to a full glass of something expensive or unfamiliar.

With 1,400+ bottles on display — the largest whiskey selection in the Southeast — flights are how this bar comes to life.

Some guests want the full history behind the pour. Others just want something great in the glass without the deep dive.

Both are welcome here.

Our flights are curated to do exactly that.
They’re thoughtful, not overwhelming, Educational when you want it and easy to enjoy when you don’t

And if you want to go deeper, we offer private tastings and guided flights for groups looking for more than just a round of pours.
