Once, there were giant magnets located below the city's sidewalks that, by interacting with the iron levels in the human body, controlled the electrical flow of energy to all the area's inhabitants. Legend has it that a young, moonstruck, immigrant at the turn of the 20th century, recognized the magnets' potential to do harm and feared their inevitable use by the

government for manipulation.
