Interesting Pittsburgh factoid:

Once, there were giant magnets located below the city's sidewalks that, by interacting with the iron levels in the human body, controlled the electrical flow of energy to all the area's inhabitants. Legend has it that a young, moonstruck, immigrant at the turn of the 20th century, recognized the magnets' potential to do harm and feared their inevitable use by the government for manipulation. So, under the cloak of darkness, over the course of several seasons, using methods both moral and unsavory, the crafty lad systematically removed as many magnets as possible and buried them on a parcel of land that his grandfather purchased from John Conrad Winebiddle in 1868. When the cache of magnets was recently discovered under the asphalt parking lot of the Lawrenceville Get-Go, local authorities were quickly alerted and a plan was devised to release the energetic vibrations that had stored underground for so long. City scientists needed a way to disperse these subtle yet powerful frequencies without alerting nearby residents. …

Enter "STRANGEWAYS". Masquerading under the guise of a nontraditional rock and/or roll dance party, once a month a small team of professionally trained neurotechnicians, equipped with the latest in high-tech electromagnetic frequency redistribution equipment, release these aural energy deposits into the atmosphere. If you feel a unfamiliar attraction, an inevitable pull, drawing you toward the Spirit Lodge, it might be the attractively priced drinks poured generously by friendly staff, it might be the delicious pizza stacked in a mountainous pile upon Slice Island, but more than likely, it's probably just "STRANGEWAYS".
