Switch Restaurant was started 14 years ago with the idea of creating a place for all people to come together. A place without judgement or attitude. A place where true hospitality could shine and people could feel welcome as if they were at their best friends house. Over these years we have come to enjoy sharing the best of times with our guests as well giving a warm embrace during the hard times. We have seen first dates, anniversaries, weddings, celebrations of all kinds. We have been there when a loved one has passed and provided a respite for folks going through serious medical treatments at near by hospitals. As well just everyday good food and friendship. For allowing us to be a small part of your lives we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
You see in this business its the connections that make a difference. The smiles of happy guests to know you did it right and that you are in this for the right reasons.
That being said all things must come to an end. That last 18 months or so has been trying for everyone to say the least. With rising costs, a shortage of labor and the potential of worsening health crisis. We have decided that it is time to get some much needed rest and figure what opportunities the world will afford us next is a prudent move.
We cannot tell you all how proud we are of the team here, both past and present for they are what makes a restaurant great. To all of our Switch family we Thank you and we are forever in your debt. This is very sad for all of us here but when one door closes another opens and who knows what the future holds.
Switch will cease operations on September 5 at 3 pm. We would love to see all of you again at least one more time before we go. If for no other reason than just to stop in and say Hi. (this would be a good time to use up those gift cards :)
