We are having a "Big Game" party on Sunday, February 13th. Lydia and l are grilling chicken, burgers and brats! Would love it if some of our "foodies" would bring a side dish!
Also have several "pool" parties happening now until kick off which is at 4:30pm.
So, show your support for your local neighborhood bar and watch the Bengals and the Rams go at it!! See you there!

I realize that l didn't post our CHRISTMAS PARTY for Jay's is today! SATURDAY, DEC.11. It will start around 3pm. We are having 2 DJ's (our wonderful karaoke/dj, Skeeter, is 1st up and then around 8pm, we'll be hosting Ricky as dj) lots of food and doing prizes off raffle tickets....come and join us! Merry Christmas everyone! from "Kat's Krew", Cissie, Kelly, Mel, Anne and Lydia and Sandy and, of course, Me!!

I thought I would let everyone know our busy party schedule for Halloween and the next 2 months! Lots of food, karaoke/music from 2-6pm, drink specials, free hourly drawings for goodies, games, and just a lot of laughter & good energy in the air...🥳 catch up with friends you haven't seen in a while and help me celebrate another year!💋 Come and see the changes we've made inside Jay's too! 🧐

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 25th 2pm"ish" ~🍗THANKSGIVING🍗 Not a big deal but we'll be frying up a couple of Turkey's and putting out the "fixin's". This will be limited to about 20-25 people so, if you have Jay's as your Thanksgiving dinner plans, please reserve a plate with any bartender on duty. We'll start taking "reservations" on November 18th. Any monetary donations will be greatly appreciated.

This is always fun! Our beautiful Christmas light display will be up! $1 gets you a chance to win the pot in the "Guess How Many Lights" Contest! We put out a potluck spread (with help from all of you)🎅 so please bring a dish if possible. Karaoke from 2-6pm, games, gifts, and drink specials. Come join us share the happiness of the holidays and celebrate that WE CAN be together this year. NO MASKS REQUIRED...☃️

"Big" Bob Peto will finally be put to rest in a service at the National Cemetery in Phoenix on Monday, January 24th at 1pm. A "Celebration of Life" will be held following the service at 3pm at Jay's.
We will be laughing and sharing the many loving, "stu"pid, crazy stories and, even maddening, memories we have of Bob while he was in our lives!

Hellooooo out there! Hey did you miss it? Jay's is open again for business! The hours have changed a bit but we are still fine tuning many things! If you have been to Jay's before, l think you'll really like the updated version! If you're new to Jay's, it is like a diamond in the rough! A little place, hiding in plain sight! So, whenever you're in the neighborhood, everyone should make a point to stop in at Jay's Cocktail Lounge! We hope to see you soon. Have a safe and happy holiday season. I thought the world would like to know...this Sunday, October 4th, marks the day in 2004 when l, new owner, unlocked the doors to Jay's Cocktail Lounge @ 6 am! Jerry Richards, one of the early morning "old timers" was waiting in the vestibule and would be the first customer to greet the morning bartender for years to come! (Rest in peace Jerry)...and, thus starts the new beginning of 'JCL' (Jay's Cocktail Lounge) and a whole new world to me. So, Sunday will mark the end of 16 years. "You've come a long way Baby" seems like something l would like to hear but, sadly, do not believe it is too true....Nonetheless, since we are unable to celebrate together, l want to thank each and every one of you who has supported JCL and ME throughout thick and thin. If nothing else, it has been an interesting 16 year ride! Hopefully, we have a few more good years ahead. If l am able to receive some financial assistance for the 7 months Jay's had been closed, we will celebrate all the holidays we missed together in one gigantic "KICKED COVID'S ASS" (And Am Alive To Talk About It) PARTY! 😲 In the meantime, stay healthy and watch for "SOON to Open" signs at Jay's and in posts on Facebook. Again, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for all the good, crazy memories. Katherine
