On becoming a victim of your own success...
The success of both Tranzylvania Returns! And the first 6 Feet Under @ Palazzo has certainly been wonderful to witness; unfortunately, that success now casts some long shadows over Necrotek’s future. Watching waves of people roll up on the bar from the vantage point of the door, and seeing them get cycled quickly through the process of getting drinks from the multiple bar tenders shows me that we may have generally resolved one of the greatest complaints people have had. With both nights hitting the venues required minimum bar sales and with the added pressure from the competing growth in numbers and sales from the venue’s Friday Night next door at Club Downtown it’s beginning to put some real pressure on Necrotek’s survival.
Today the venue gave me the unfortunate ultimatum; that if Necrotek does not hit the bar minimum for its next 3 events it will be replaced with the Latin night from next door. Both 6 Feet under and Tranzylvania Returns! would continue on their normal schedules.
We want to thank everyone that came out for both Tranzylvania Returns! as well as the first 6 Feet Under. We really want all who haven’t been or been out for a while to come out and experience Necrotek with the new changes. To encourage this, we will be lowering our before 10pm cover to $5. And we’ll be working to see if we can secure any drink specials.

Now comes the part I dislike most, where I must humbly ask you for your help; if you’re interested in seeing Necrotek continue, and in seeing the wealth of talent and DJ’s I have booked over the next 6 months, including, Mijito (June), Xian Vox (July), d_void, Cayce Andrew (August), Awfully Sinister (September), Daemon Shadow (October), Tristan/Isulet (November), Dj Ari (December) we need your support. Help us keep this night going and keep this diverse scene we all love and have built together in Phoenix growing and healthy!|
