🗓️ Join us Saturday, October 17 at 7 PM for a night of wh***ey, trivia, and good company, featuring the debut of Angel’s Envy Peach Brandy Cask Finished Rye.

🔔 Hey guys, I wanted to do something a little different with this post.

If you’ve been hanging around Magnum’s lately, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been throwing a lot of new things at you.

Tastings, trivia, football stuff, new cocktails, weird cat flyers....

And I know some of you are probably wondering what exactly I’m up to.

Since taking over as manager, one of the things I’ve wanted most is to find ways to make this already really special little community at Magnum’s even better.

I spend a ridiculous amount of my life behind that bar with you guys. I know your names, I know your drinks, I know where you like to sit, and I’ve heard enough stories from most of you that I could probably cause some serious problems if I ever decided to write a book.

But the funny thing is, a lot of you don’t know each other.

Some of my favorite people are sitting three barstools away from some of my other favorite people, and neither of you has any idea.

That’s a huge part of why I’ve been experimenting with these events.

I don’t want to turn Magnum’s into something different. I don’t want to lose the quiet nights, the familiar faces, the good wh***ey, or the feeling that made all of us fall in love with this weird little place to begin with.

I just want to give you guys more excuses to hang out together.

And that brings me to my latest excuse...

✏️ ANGEL’S ENVY TRIVIA NIGHT
🗓️ Saturday, October 17th • 7PM

We’re keeping this one tiny on purpose.

24 people. Four teams of six.

🥃 Everyone will start with a welcome cocktail, and throughout the night we’ll taste through four different Angel’s Envy wh***eys while working our way through five rounds of trivia.

That’s five rounds of five questions — 25 total.

Some will actually teach you something. Some will test your wh***ey knowledge. Some will probably cause an unnecessary argument between six adults who are increasingly confident in an answer none of them actually know.

You do not need to know a ton about wh***ey.

Honestly, you don’t even need to be good at trivia.

Come with a group, bring one person, or just come by yourself. We’ll figure out the teams.

The whole point is to drink some great wh***ey, learn a few things, laugh at each other, and hopefully introduce you to a few people you’ll actually want to sit next to the next time you come in.

Arizona may not be giving us crisp mountain air, falling leaves, or evenings beside a roaring fireplace just yet, but that doesn't mean we can't pretend.

🗓️ Today, October 9th, from 5:30–7:30 PM, we're bringing a little taste of the Utah mountains to Magnums for a cozy autumn evening celebrating High West Wh***ey and the highly anticipated release of A Midwinter Night's Dram, Act 14.

Think rustic mountain cabins, crackling campfires, flannel weather, and exceptional wh***ey. We'll provide the wh***ey. The flannel is entirely up to you.

Join us for a complimentary tasting featuring four expressions from High West:

🏈 Football Sunday is back at Magnum’s — and for Week 4, we’re bringing out smoked street tacos, cold b**r, and a few bottles you don’t see poured every day!

🗓️ SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4TH | GAMES BEGIN AT 10AM

🌮 SMOKED STREET TACOS — $15

Four street tacos featuring 14-hour smoked, carnitas-style meat, topped with homemade rojo salsa and served on locally made, stone-ground corn tortillas.

Food service begins with the first round of games at 10AM and continues while supplies last.

Quantities will be limited and tacos are first come, first served — come hungry.

🍺 PIZZA PORT AMIGO L***R — $7 ALL DAY

A crisp Mexican-style l***r and an easy pairing for tacos, football, and a Sunday at the bar.

🥃 SPECIAL BOURBON POURS — $15–$20
