This is our nod to the over-the-top style at Wilder in Rittenhouse.

Effortlessly cool, distinctly Philadelphian, and never too precious about itself — which is exactly the permission slip we needed. Bluecoat Elderflower, pinot grigio, cantaloupe, oregano, lemon, club soda, prosciutto on top.

Melon and prosciutto have been doing this for centuries. We just gave it ice and a straw.

Inspired by the Rittenhouse institution, we infused Bluecoat with Herbes de Provence — lavender, thyme, rosemary, the whole Mediterranean drawer — then brightened it with grapefruit and topped it with Blanc de Blancs.

It’s a spritz that grew up.
