Piper Hill was a U.S. Army captain overseeing fuel logistics when a traumatic brain injury in the line of duty left her bedridden for years. Her dog, Valentine, stayed by her side through the recovery.

In 2008, she founded Healing4Heroes, a Fayette County nonprofit that trains service dogs for veterans at no charge. Hill estimates it has trained more than 2,500 service dogs for veterans, and the work goes well beyond obedience. As Hill puts it, "It's more than just dog training with us."

Now the organization is working toward a permanent training facility on 60 acres in rural Fayette County, and it's looking for donations and volunteers, especially coaches.

There’s something special about a beautiful fall evening in Peachtree City — and nothing better than a little time on the patio at Pascal's Bistro. Where you will have a great meal, a delicious glass of w**e, and some Friday night amazing Blues with live music Skyalr Skyler Saufley 🍷🎶

We’re especially happy to have Skylar Saufley joining us on the patio, beginning at 6:00 PM. Skylar is a amazing blues musician, and his music brings such a warm, relaxed feel to the evening. We’re grateful to have him sharing his talent with us.

Our kitchen will be serving our regular menu, along with two of this week’s favorites: sesame seed–encrusted tuna tartare and our beautiful rack of lamb.

Most of all, we look forward to seeing familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and sharing another lovely evening with our Peachtree City community. Thank You!
