Colorado Stars Diving will be hosting the first annual 1m 'Spring'board Invitational this Saturday (3/8) at the Grandview High School pool in Aurora, CO. This is a great chance for our newer divers to showcase many of the skills they have been learning over the past few months and a great warm-up meet for our more experienced divers heading into USA Diving Regionals next weekend in Arvada. Should be a fun meet with divers ranging in age from 5 to 17 years old from Colorado and Wyoming. Registration is currently available on Divemeets.com.

Colorado Stars Diving Club attended the 15th annual Sagebrush Invitational at the Metro State pool in Denver on Saturday. Stars Diving is the fastest growing diving club in Colorado and was well-represented with 11 divers at the meet. Stars attended the same meet last year with only one diver. This was the first diving meet ever for 8 of the 11 Stars divers. We had five first place finishes, two third places and a fourth place finish. Great job and congratulations to all the divers. Colorado Stars divers competed in the AAU District Championships today at Metro State College in Denver. All five girls qualified for Nationals in San Antonio at the end of July. McKenna finished 1st in the 17 year-old division. Isobel was 2nd in the 15 year-old division and Taylor, Emma and Grace finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 14 year-old division. It was the first dive meet for these three and all the girls did a great job. Congrats Stars divers.

Just a reminder that there will be no Stars diving this week as the Grandview pool is closed for Spring Break. We will resume our normal practice schedule next week ( April 8th).

REMINDER - No Stars diving tonight (3/14/13) due to the high school swim meet being held at Grandview. We will be back next week on Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs nights from 5:45 - 7:15. Have a great weekend. See you next week.

The Fall 2012 session ends tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for another great session. We will begin the Winter session in January. More details will follow in a couple of weeks once the schedule is finalized. Happy Holidays!!

CONGRATULATIONS TRENT WRITER & STARS DIVE TEAM: STARS diver Trent Writer placed 2nd on 3-meter and 3rd on 1-meter to help STARS place 6th at the 14th Annual Sagebrush Diving Invite. Way to go!!!

Colorado STARS divers attended the All-Star meet at Cherry Hills Country Club in July, 2012. Katie Steward finished 1st in the 13-14 age group. McKenna Moede was 2nd and Addy Babineau finished 3rd in the 15-18 age group. Great job, ladies!!

Colorado STARS Diving Club is now taking registrations for the fall session beginning in September. The inaugural session this summer was a big success and we're looking for big things in the fall from our divers.
