Sunday Sips just got a little more spirited 🥃

For years, we've gathered monthly on Sunday afternoons to explore wine from around the world and the response has been nothing short of incredible. So we're expanding the series:

Joins us Sunday June 7th from 2–4pm for the first installment: Sips with Fish (Adams)- a bourbon tasting

We're kicking things off with a deep dive into vintage Kentucky pours, curated by Fish Adams of the The Paducah Bourbon Society, alongside a selection of bottles from newer distilleries chosen by our very own Matt Johnston. We'll be comparing old guard vs. new wave and talking about where this beloved spirit has been, where it is now, and where it's headed.

Bourbon is just the beginning in this new spirit series 🦊

As we countdown to our next Sunday Sips event on May 31st, the next two weeks at The FoxBriar will spotlight traditional method sparkling wines from around the world aka the perfect warm-weather pour 🍾

This week’s pick comes from the historic Constantia Valley just outside Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in the 1690s, has become one of the country’s benchmark producers of Sauvignon Blanc and Cap Classique sparkling wines.

The wine itself is crisp, vibrant, and easy to drink. Expect bright citrus, fresh-cut grass, and zesty lemon-lime flavors with a dry, mineral finish that practically begs for sunshine, a patio chair, & a second pour.

If you love bone-dry Champagne but not the price tag, this bottle deserves your attention.

This week’s wine of the week is a vibrant red from California’s North Coast, crafted by Sam Bilbro of . Raised among vineyards, Sam’s passion for winemaking runs deep. Inspired by the wines of Piedmont, he set out to bring their elegance and character to the hills of Mendocino and Sonoma.

We’re excited to feature Flora & Fauna Red, a beautifully balanced blend of Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Dolcetto. Expect notes of dark cherry, warm baking spice, and delicate herbal florals, all supported by fresh acidity and firm tannins.

The final feature in our three-week “Can I Pet Nat Dog?” series is here, and comes from one of our favorite producers, . Winemaker Andrew Jones captures the spirit of California’s Central Coast in every bottle, and highlights overlooked vineyard gems. 

Hailing from Paso Robles, this playful, innovative sparkling wine is made from 100% Chardonnay and fermented with dried Mosaic hops, beautifully bridging the worlds of beer and wine. It delivers a crisp, citrus driven finish with bright lemon and grapefruit notes, layered with subtle herbal aromas 🍋🌿

This week’s addition to our “can I Pet Nat Dog” series, comes from Abruzzo, Italy, and is a perfect porch pounder for a warm spring evening! 

Il Mostro’s Langana is crafted by the Marchesani family, who have been farming their land since the 1960s and became one of Italy’s first certified organic vineyards in 1978. 

Langana Rosato Frizzante is a sparkling rosé made from Montepulciano grapes, and is bright, lively, and refreshing. This fizzy rosé bursts with red berry flavors, layered with herbaceous and floral notes on both the nose and palate. Crisp acidity and playful bubbles make it the perfect companion for a sunny day☀️🥂

Tiny, fluffy, and full of charm—the long-tailed tit looks like a little snowball with wings ❄️🐦. Sometimes referred to as “feathered lollipops” 🍭 these small birds are social in nature and often live in large flocks.

Our Long Haired Tit takes inspiration from the Eurasian home of its namesake, and is made with , .shochu, Lichi-li, cold brew coffee, and a pineapple gum surup. It’s a lighter take on a classic espresso martini with a fruity and floral twist.

This week’s wine of the week kicks off a series our Sommelier has dubbed “Can I Pet Nat Dog?” 🐶

For the next few weeks we’ll be exploring the category of Pét-Nat (short for pétillant naturel), a winemaking style where the wine is bottled mid-fermentation to create its natural sparkle 🍾

Hazy, hay-yellow color in the glass with a beautifully floral nose. Bright flavors of green apple and lemon lead into a full-bodied sip with a slightly funky edge.

From in Paso Robles, California, Posie is a delightful introduction to this category of wines.

We’ll be open and pouring this wine from 5p to 11p this evening 🦊🥂
