There is always a usual story happens at the end of every semester. Our College receives plenty of new international students and sends out a bunch of nice, friendly, amazing and senior international club members as well. As senior club officers, we never forget to consider about how we can contribute to our club and members as much as possible. We know new international students normally have study issues. Would you like to go ask help from your friends? Would you really think it is possible?
Now, our club has a new study program that benefits to all the group members. Our Mentor Program offers academic assistances to all kinds of students. We can help you the courses we are good at or have taken before. Who wants to come and join this wonderful program, as a mentor or new learner? Every feedback you write can help us to work on this program better. We’re sincerely waiting for your voices.

Hi everyone. Your handsome Face book coordinator shows up again! Here I bring our Butte College International Club members a good news: we are going to have a Halloween event with Chico State Neighbor. Through our struggles, we try hard to have such an opportunity to break our circle and we will get to know lot more new friends out of Butte College. Butte College and Chico State, belonging to this friendly city, are going to have a pumpkin carving, dancing and costume party with free food. Here is the information about the event. Listen up!

Time: October 30th, Friday, from 4pm to 9pm
Location: Shaffer Ranch (3882 Keefer Rd)

Sweet reminder: don’t worry about the distance. We won’t leave you alone if u want to stay with us. We offer you a safe ride! Let me know how I can help you. I’m always being with you~

Good night~

Hi, friends!
Have you ever heard of "Book in Common"?
It is a project that Butte College is involved in with Chico State and the City and County.
Every year, one book is chosen by a group of university faculty and staff and community members.
The book is read and shared in the whole community to promote discussion and understanding of important issues facing the broader community.
Throughout an academic year, there will be various events sponsored all over in Chico: panel discussions, lectures, and other public events.

There is one of those events happening on Butte main campus on this Wednesday!
Our club adviser, Tom will be giving a presentation with another professor, Sanjay Dev (Ajay’s brother) and Peggy Dev (Ajay’s wife).
Location: the Center For Excellence (Library)
Date & Time: Wednesday, Oct 14, 12:30 -1:45

Even if you've never read the book before, the topic is really interesting to think about, and the presentation will help you understand the issue.
So if you have time on Wednesday, why don't you join the event?

Enjoy the rest of your week!
