Pulse Families and Survivors for Justice

Pulse Families and Survivors for Justice Founded by a victim's mother, survivor, & community members. We are now the largest organized group of PULSE families/survivors for accountability & justice.

We publish documented facts and public records. We are a group of Pulse survivors, victims' family members, and impacted community members fighting against the OnePULSE Foundation's attempt to turn our tragedy into a money-making attraction (aka, a museum). We do not think anyone should make money off a mass shooting, especially Pulse co-owner Barbara Poma who is named in a lawsuit brought by shoo

ting victims for security negligence and premise liability. She does not represent victims and is not keeper of the story. She was not even in the United States when the shooting happened. We demand justice and accountability for the documented code violations and unpermitted renovations at Pulse Nightclub that hindered escape and rescue. Law enforcement never conducted a criminal investigation and the City of Orlando called off an inspection of the nightclub after the shooting to fully document known code violations. We want a public memorial park, with no gift shop on site (as the OnePULSE Foundation put up a gift shop feet away from where our loved ones were brutally murdered). Public tragedies should not be privatized. Check out our YouTube channel, Twitter , Instagram , and read the records for yourself.

Original plans for the groundbreaking were postponed because of a conflict with a Pulse-related event for families in Orlando.

A groundbreaking with no permits? The Center? lol. We’ll see how this turns out.

“As of now, there is no set timeline for completion, as permits for the land are still being processed. Organizers held the groundbreaking ceremony to give families an opportunity to celebrate the tribute’s new design.”

Not only were families NOT invited, but… this project was supposed to be completed YEARS ago. This is a groundbreaking with no permits?

Not sure if Osceola County can be trusted based on past experience wjth this project. There has been zero transparency and so much secrecy.

Ten years after the Pulse nightclub shooting, Osceola County is preparing to build its own tribute to the 49 victims, giving families and survivors a place to heal closer to home.

Crazy they didn’t invite all our families and survivors, or even provide an update on this stalled project. Who exactly are these projects for?

Christine Leinonen, mother of Christopher Andrew Leinonen, joined Dr. Jeffrey Badger from Uvalde, Texas, at a press conference in Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2026. The book is titled, "Control the False Narrative" and scrutinizes the PULSE police response, the Orlando Police Department's (OPD) failure to follow active shooter protocol, and how John Mina lied about the police response.

The press conference was held at the Marriott downtown. To our knowledge, no local news stations reported this.

It's ridiculous that even though we were the ones who shut down onePULSE and have been advocating for a public memorial since day 1, we have to now fight the City of Orlando - Government for a dignified memorial and not the massive, multi-million-dollar tourist attraction they want to build that makes our 49 loved ones SECONDARY to the FAILED NIGHTCLUB DEATH TRAP.

We literally handed the memorial project the City. Look at Orange County's public records, if you don't believe us.

The City of Orlando only knows how to disrespect and exploit our families and survivors. It does not know how to move forward together.

We hope our state leaders take a different, collaborative route towards accountability and justice.

Olga Disla deserves to know if her son, Anthony, was one of the 16 PULSE victims who would have survived had he received medical care sooner. If he is one of the "preventable deaths" with "survivable wounds"

All of our families seeking answers should have them. This is why we are calling for an independent investigative commission. Our agencies have failed us.

WESH 2 News did a good overview of the past 10 years since the mass shooting at Pulse Orlando.

It is unfortunate that Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has been able to get away with lying to the public for over a decade. We desperately need new leadership in the City of Orlando - Government. Orlando leaders, including Commissioner Patty Sheehan and District 5 Commissioner: Shan Rose, have been part of the problem and not part of the solution. They have betrayed their constituents and continue to exploit PULSE victims.
