Pulse Families and Survivors for Justice Founded by a victim's mother, survivor, & community members. We are now the largest organized group of PULSE families/survivors for accountability & justice.

We publish documented facts and public records. We are a group of Pulse survivors, victims' family members, and impacted community members fighting against the OnePULSE Foundation's attempt to turn our tragedy into a money-making attraction (aka, a museum). We do not think anyone should make money off a mass shooting, especially Pulse co-owner Barbara Poma who is named in a lawsuit brought by shooting victims for security negligence and premise liability. She does not represent victims and is not keeper of the story. She was not even in the United States when the shooting happened. We demand justice and accountability for the documented code violations and unpermitted renovations at Pulse Nightclub that hindered escape and rescue. Law enforcement never conducted a criminal investigation and the City of Orlando called off an inspection of the nightclub after the shooting to fully document known code violations. We want a public memorial park, with no gift shop on site (as the OnePULSE Foundation put up a gift shop feet away from where our loved ones were brutally murdered). City of Orlando - Government is not going to allow us to speak during the agenda meeting via Zoom. How are we supposed to share our concerns and public comments if we are not given the opportunity to speak, especially when many survivors and families do not live in Orlando, Florida?

This is absolutely ridiculous. Once again, we feel like we are being silenced, just as we have been for so long. We deserve to be heard. Our voices matter. Survivors and families deserve the opportunity to speak up, share their experiences, and express their concerns without being shut out.

You cannot claim to care about survivors and families while refusing to give us a voice. We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for the right to be heard.

La Ciudad de Orlando no nos va a permitir hablar durante la reunión de agenda a través de Zoom. ¿Cómo se supone que compartamos nuestras preocupaciones y comentarios públicos si no nos dan la oportunidad de expresarnos, especialmente cuando muchos sobrevivientes y familiares no vivimos en Orlando, Florida?

Esto es absolutamente ridículo. Una vez más, sentimos que nos están silenciando, como lo han hecho durante tanto tiempo. Merecemos ser escuchados. Nuestras voces importan. As the City of Orlando - Government promotes its $16M+ memorial tourist attraction—now funded by tourism giants and the DeVos Family, in addition to Orlando taxpayers—we have our own things to say about it.

We ask the media to pay attention to the public comments when you do your reporting on the City Council meetings conducted by the hostile City.

The City of Orlando - Government has made it near impossible to find this information, as it is embedded within documents within documents. We have provided them on our website for ease of public access.

In addition to, again, using the PULSE memorial as a means to pass millions of dollars to the Mayor's developer/construction friends from MCO, the public can see how money is being wasted on overpriced construction. Not to mention the fact that the City is failing to deliver on its promise to use donations to pay back Orlando taxpayers for the $3M it spent on property acquisition. This included paying the Pomas $2M for the nightclub property despite its market value being less than half that amount.

The City claims it is doing this for the 49 victims, but it is clear this is just the onePULSE Foundation happening all over again with millions of dollars being passed around to those close to the mayor. First it was the Pomas. The same tourism corporations (and the DeVos Foundation) that supported the onePULSE Foundation's PULSE tourism attraction are backing the City's efforts to do the same thing.
