On Friday 04/10/2015 1755 N.W. 16th St was the place to be. The official length Trailer for “Electric Nostalgia” rolled out with an impressive BANG! There were three showings slated for the event. Thus, a person’s schedule was not an issue.
The atmosphere outside and inside had the “artist at home” feel… Outside various artist showcased their music and crafts. Setting the mood as you approached the District House. Inside, the entry was open to the darker projection area: yet the there was an area open and light for hanging with the Talent, Indi-Film Makers. An A+ for mingling.
Officially 77 people attended. The Producers Zachary Burns, Vinnie Hogan were on hand. Producer, Director and Writer Jacob Leighton Burns was accessible. Likewise many of the cast and crew, Jami Harri, Cait Brasel, Alan Davidson, Josh Bronzie, Brian Gilland, Vinnie Hogan, Clint Kubat, Casey Crowds, Lauren Anaila, Page Tudyk, Brady Foster, Ryan Christopher, Jocob Burns, Rick Holms. Also, my comrades in the 2013 48hr film festival trench Patrick Brian Kirk and Nicolas Poss was present. Of course, Poss was hanging in the wings. And, Wendy Parker and Sharee Green …. Officially, the Planet Thunder Production’s film is categorized as a Sci-fi/ thriller. If you like such films as “Frankenstein”, “Weird Science”, “Invasion of The Body Snatchers”, with a twist of “Criminal Minds” from the Victim’s POV, then this seems to be a trailer and film for you. Jacob Leighton Burns did an excellent job of arranging the dynamic theme into understandable framework.
If you seen the short guy in a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, suit jacket and dress shoes making his way through the room like an iron clad butterfly, then that would me. Everyone enjoyed the location, event and each other’s company. The showing received and A+ from your’s truly and fellow comrades.
