Aroma: 9/10- bright, citrusy and aromatic

Presentation: 8/10- standard presentation with a large ice block, cherry and fancy flambéed orange peel.

Taste: 8/10- pretty standard old fashioned, first sip you can taste all the elements and the depth of the flavors.

Aroma- 8/10- bright, citrusy, chocolatey

Presentation- 7.5- a non-traditional presentation for a non traditional old fashioned. It’s light, comes with lemon and orange peel and non-traditional ice cubes.

Taste- 8.5- sweeter than the typical old fashioned and features Japanese whiskey and rum. It’s chocolate forward mingled with citrusy notes.

Aroma- 9/10 - spicy and aromatic, notes of citrus and vanilla

Taste- 8.5/10 - too sweet for one us, just perfect for one of us. Spiced and sweet, tastes like a fall morning.

After a brief hiatus we are back!

Mexican Radio: 9.5/10

Aroma: 8/10- the aroma is bright, citrusy, the perfect balance of all the elements of cherry, bourbon, orange.

Taste: 10/10- super balanced, no flavors overpowered each other and the taste is exceptionally smooth.

Presentation: 10/10- classic presentation with a sphere ice cube.

We asked for the regular old fashioned, not the cashew old fashioned. While we intend to try all the old fashioneds in OKC we think this should be the standard.

Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza in Nichols Hills! 7/10

Aroma- 7. Citrusy and floral combined with the fire of the bourbon made for a great, aromatic deliciousness.

Taste- 7.5 - the bourbon was extra firey and a little overpowering. We asked for extra simple syrup to help with the taste.

Presentation- 7. No cherry, pretty straightforward.

***We also ordered the fall old fashioned (in the second picture) and it was so good! Like so good we’d give it a 9/10

Pizzeria Gusto: Peanut Old Fashioned 8.5/10!

Aroma- 10/10, notes of nuttiness, peanut and maple syrup (think pancakes mom used to make)

Presentation- 8/10, good presentation with a classic luxardo cherry, orange peel and crushed ice.

Taste- 8.5/10, maple-y with spice notes and a subtle peanut taste and a perfect combination. The bourbon and peanut balance each other out in a smooth, complimentary way.

We tried the regular old fashioned as well and we’d highly recommend both!
