The easy way and the right way are rarely the same thing.

Will asked why we drive all the way to a farm when we could just call a supplier. Chris’s answer hasn’t changed since day one. What would your grandmother do?

She didn’t call a distributor. She walked out back. She knew where her food came from and she knew where it was going. No debate. No shortcuts.

That’s still how we make every decision at The Lady May. Buy the jelly or make the jelly. Buy the dressing or make the dressing. Call the supplier or drive to the farm.

Our grandmothers always went the long way. It’s never been the wrong answer.
