Welp, not the best way to start off the day.
During the road and electrical work happening on Bayshore and Pioneer last week, power was temporarily cut during the night, so we ran the smokers on our generator to let us cook through the night. Our BBQ crew made sure it was chained down and locked tight to one of our smokers.
We left it there believing it to be safe, and was depending on using it to serve on NASWI base today to power our food trailer. Came in today to find it gone, the lock cut. They even took the chain.
Its tough, and really sucks. We all believed it was safe. But times change.
We won’t let it get us down though. The restaurant will be open from 11-8pm today. If you were planning to visit our truck on base, please consider coming to the restaurant for lunch or dinner.
We’re also looking for recommendations on an audio/video company to install a new NVR camera system.
And finally, on the small chance that the person that took it sees this, just return it. We’re not vindictive, and it’d restore a little hope to see it returned
The food trailer will be open tomorrow on base, using the generator for Bubbas Burger
See yall soon! ❤️
Note: The generator was a Predator 5000
