This song hits home . You need to watch and listen to the video when you get a chance. This will be an emotional weekend for all of us . Owners , employees and patrons. Summer is slipping away, and so is the physical stance of echo's . The memories will never be stripped from our minds. We met , grew , shared , laughed , cried , fought, made up , kissed, hugged, made enemies , made life long friends , met wives and husbands , spilled sweat of hard work , sweated with pure joy, broke bones , bled and got stitches, and wear the scars like badges of honor, bonds were made that can't be broken, also learned that some bonds were meant to be broken. We talked , argued , screamed in joy and anger , we learned each other's fears , dreams, what grosses us out and what turns us on. We had each other's back, gave life lessons , watched girls grow to women , boys become men , people wed , divorced, babies born and people die. We overcame the odds , and eventually succumbed to them. We worked hard and played hard , just like our fathers and mothers before us. We all raised money for charity here , to help kids , to fight awful disease, to keep sports going , to support our art of expression, to celebrate our heritage, to remember the ones who passed away and moved on, held up our heads , when you wanted to break down. We exposed our raw emotion and trusted friends to not tell anyone. Rode the wave , a journey , a moment in time , you were here for it. Learned how great people can be and how much they can suck. We wish the walls could talk , or hope they are deaf,dum and blind. Sun, sand , hurricanes , an earthquake, floods, sunsets the most gorgeous day ever, to Mother Nature at her worst. The building has stood since 1887. Its changed several times and will change again , the cycle will start over again, everything on this list will happen again , all the good and bad , we are just human. did i mentioned we laughed? oh we laughed hard ! .till our sides hurt and tears came out of our eyes. we left with more stories than Walt Disney . The one thing that wasn't mentioned , that won't be ever duplicated , is the way we LOVED. This place and each other......
