From staff: Over the last 41 years, Opie's has been home to so many people and touched so many lives that it will always be much more than just a bar. But it was never the drinks or the music or the dance floors that made it so special. It was the guy at the door greeting each customer, usually by name, that made people want to come back. He is a bar owner who runs things his way, the right way, and always treats everyone with respect. Opie, from all of us, thank you for all the fun times, for all the memories, and for so many nights when we were able to set aside our worries and just enjoy a cold beer. We know you love us and hope you know how much we love you.
