Tomorrow night at The Cabinet, we welcome Quiote Mezcalería for a one-night-only mezcal tasting and educational experience celebrating agave, tradition, and the stories behind the spirit.

To mark the occasion, we’re sharing a photo captured during a recent Cabinet trip to Don Mateo in Oaxaca: a blooming quiote rising from the heart of the agave plant.
A quiote is the tall flowering stalk that emerges once an agave reaches maturity, a rare and beautiful moment in the plant’s life cycle that signals the next generation to come.

In that same spirit, we’re honored to collaborate with Quiote Mezcalería as we continue building a space for deeper exploration of mezcal, agave, and hospitality culture through future tastings, conversations, and special events at The Cabinet.
