HEY KEY CLUBBERS :D : A FEW ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

1)The next two Fridays are out last meetings... They are MANDATORY especially the last one please make sure to attend those meetings. The last meeting day is also the day of our key club party and yes everyone has to bring something..no exceptions!!

2) Please remember that tomorrow Sunday May 18 is the Aids Walk and also OUR LAST EVENT!! If you have not done so please remember today to register for the walk under our club name in the link here https://www.kintera.org/faf/teams/registerTeam.asp?ievent=1089371&lis=1&kntae1089371=260DA0FB72B84A31B76915736058B3E1&teamAction=join We are meeting in front of the school and you have to be there by 8:00 a.m. sharp & remember to bring a $3.00 donation with you as well.

P.S.SENIORS: although these last two meetings are very important for everyone to attend they are highly important for you to attend and also if you are in need of hours we advise you to attend this event!!!

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed your spring break. Our next event, The March of Dimes is coming up on Sunday April 27th. 2) Key Club sweater money is DUE next Friday March 21,2014
3) Forest Restoration community Service Saturday April 5,2014 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
4)Concern Spring Walk Saturday April 12, 2014 9:30 a.m.

Important Announcement #2:

On Tuesday March 4th, 2014 at 3:45 p.m. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will be having a presentation in our school about their efforts to eradicate these two deadly cancerous diseases & what we as DeWitt Clinton High School can do to help the cause. We are asking that you attend this event and support the campaign. You will receive a total of 3 hours for showing up and staying, just make sure to check in with one of the senate members there. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to let us know.... Comment on this chat or message us & we will be glad to answer any & all questions.. Remember that this year we declare it: Cancer Ends With Me. Hope to see you guys there. :)

Good Afternoon Key Clubbers Important Announcement:

Our Key Club Division 11 came up with an event for you guys. So you basically have to give up some time on your phones- it is very simple & will make an impact. For every minute you are not using your phone UNICEF's sponsor can provide 1 day of clean water to a child in need. We are also giving you guys hours for taking part in this initiative. Basically it is 1 hour for an hour. However the time does not have to be consecutive it just needs to add up (Not that harsh right?)... In order to receive your hours we do need PROOF!! You can take a pic or screen shot how much time you have completed and send it to this page :). Help raise money for UNICEF's Tap Project via this link: http://tap.staging.unicefusa.org

How long can you go without touching your phone? For every minute you go, our sponsor will donate one day of clean water to a child in need. Take the challenge!

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE ARE HAVING A CLUB MEETING TOMORROW THURSDAY FEB 6,2014 RATHER THAN ON FRIDAY FEB 7,2014!!! Many of our members won't be around on Friday & we feel that it's best possible way to have the meeting on Thursday... It is important & we hope that you guys can make it! If anything just let us know & we'll try to figure something out :D ^_^

Good evening Key Clubbers:

Just a reminder that the divisional at Bronx Science is tomorrow. We will be meeting you guys in front of the school at 5:30 to walk over there together. The event will end at 8:30 but no one will be required to stay for the duration. Also those of you participating in the bear stuffing event will recieve 5 hours (remember $10 a bear). If you are just attending the divisional you will recieve 2 hours. Everyone attending please like this status & if you have any questions feel fee to comment here or message the Key Club inbox & we will be glad to answer you. :)

HAPPY SIZZLING SATURDAY KEY CLUBBERS ^_^ :

We hope that you guys had fun & enjoyed yourselves yesterday.

Okay so you guys should have gotten emails from the Arthritis Foundation about the Jingle Bell Run/Walk coming up on December 7, 2013. Remember that this time we are registering as volunteers and not participants. You guys must go on their website and register as soon as possible. Be sure to fill in the name of our group (DeWitt Clinton HS Key Club) during the registration process. You will receive a phone call or e-mail from your Zone Captain between 11/26 and 12/1 (please check your Spam folder if you do not see it in you inbox). Your Captain will explain your assignment and tell you what time you will need to arrive. Also remember that there is a MANDATORY Volunteer Training Conference Call on Thursday, December 5th from 7:30-8:00pm. All volunteers must participate in this call. If you have any questions regarding this event ask away & we will be happy to help as much as we can :D

UPDATE KEYCLUBBERS:

Remember that tomorrow you drop off your stuff for the party during Key Club in Room 227B... There will be some senate members there to take your stuff in the morning.....And also pleasseee remember to bring in cans for the Turkey Trot coming up on November 26,2013.... It is going to a really great cause and it will be greatly appreciated (Write your Name, ID Number and Key Club on the Can & place it in the key Club box in order to get credit) ..... If you do have any other questions don't hesitate to ask us... :D ^_^
