To the World Famous Community,
This is not a eulogy. When I started this project in 2017, I simply thought I was opening a cocktail bar in Bushwick.
Over the past seven years, I have watched my idea grow from something opened for purely financial reasons into a culture, a community that has survived fires, pandemics, and floods.
I have had the privilege of witnessing careers launched, romances turn into families, and made more friends than I can count.
When I travel abroad and see one of my shirts or someone tells me they had the time of their life with us, my heart explodes. I am proud of what we built together.
On November 2, 2025, Bunton’s World Famous will cease normal operations, and I will be stepping away. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one. After months of struggling to stay afloat, it became very clear to me that the physical space wasn’t what I loved. It was the energy we created that made the place special, and when it began to fade, I knew it was time to go.
Let this be a statement of my appreciation for your years of support and the good times we shared.
Bunton’s World Famous started off as a bar and grew into something much more important: a home.
For that, I am eternally grateful.
