NYC was built by immigrants.
Its neighborhoods, its culture, its food, its music — and very much its hospitality — exist because of the time, talent, and care of people who came here from somewhere else and chose to build a life in this city.
The hospitality industry could never be what it is without immigrants. From kitchens to dining rooms to bars like ours, generations of people have shown up every day with skill, generosity, and pride in their work. They are coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family — and they are part of the soul of New York.
While Clover Club and Milady’s will remain open, we want to be clear about where we stand. We are not in a position to close our doors, but we are in a position to support our community in a meaningful way.
This week, we are donating $2,000 to the New York Immigration Coalition, an organization that supports immigrant families across New York City through advocacy, legal services, and community programs.
If you are able to and would like to join us, a donation link is in our bio.
We’re grateful for our neighborhood and proud to do this work in New York City. 🗽💖
