🐾 “Can I bring my cat to the lounge?”
We get this question, and the answer is no. Not because we don’t want to meet your cat. We probably do. 😂 But bringing an unfamiliar cat into the lounge can be stressful for everyone involved.
Cats are not like dogs at a dog park. They’re territorial, and safe introductions can take days or even weeks. Not every cat is OJ, ready to welcome a complete stranger like they’ve been best friends for years. 😂🧡
An unfamiliar cat can mean stress, disagreements, escape attempts, health concerns, and disruption to the group.
Every cat who enters our lounge comes through one of our rescue partners and follows our health and introduction process first.
So while your kitty may be the sweetest little angel at home, surprise houseguests aren’t on the invitation list. 😹
