Sometimes the universe quietly stitches things back together. 🐾💜

Today, Reid and Mikey were adopted TOGETHER.
After seeing our post that Reid had been returned to the SPCA, Daniel immediately reached out and offered to give him a home. But the story didn’t stop there. He asked us a question that melted all of our hearts:
“Did Reid have any friends at the lounge?”

Anyone who spent time here knows the bond Reid and Mikey shared. Mikey helped Reid feel safe, confident, and less alone during his time with us. The two were almost always side by side like a tiny emotional support duo with whiskers.

The moment Daniel heard about their friendship, he jumped into action again and came back for Mikey so the boys could stay together. 🥹

We truly could not have asked for a better ending to their story. From Reid being returned… to finding someone willing to open their heart not just to one cat, but to the friendship that mattered to him most. That kind of compassion is rare.

Thank you, Daniel, for seeing them, understanding them, and giving them the fresh start they deserve. The world needs more people like you.

Game night but make it ✨cat people✨ 🐾🎲

This super fun family came by last night fully prepared for kitty time… cat ears and all 😹
They brought their own games, hung out with the cats, and turned the lounge into the coziest little family game night spot ever.

Honestly? The cats were very invested in the competition. Mostly by sitting directly on the cards. 🐈

Many of you have been asking about O.J., so we wanted to share a small update. 💜🐾

On Tuesday, we brought O.J. to Cat Hospital of Metairie for his first round of imaging and diagnostic testing to help determine what is causing the painful swelling around his eye.

Right now, we are waiting for results and hoping we can finally get some answers after months of uncertainty. As many guests know, we officially adopted O.J. after the Louisiana SPCA was unable to determine the cause of his ongoing eye issues, and we promised him we would continue searching for answers and treatment.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover his growing medical expenses. If you’d like to support O.J., donate, or simply share the fundraiser, we would appreciate it more than words can say.
