Interesting Stuff!

It's hard to believe that something so primitive was the primary way to duplicate music and have a means for playback.

It's amazing how music is duplicated and played back in various formats (vinyl, tape, CD, etc.), but vinyl is the craziest. When you look at this picture, it's like a caveman chiseled out the track on a stone record! lol How is it even possible to duplicate so many (of the same) records so flawlessly? 🤔

A sharp needle dragging along a round disc of vinyl to play music just sounds ridiculous. Yet when we "put the needle on the record," the only thing that's ridiculous is the line outside the door to get in. 🙌🏻

I'd like to go see vinyl being pressed on one of the few presses still left if anyone is down for a field trip? 🤗
