Happy Anniversary!!!
It was one year ago today that we started the Salsa Dancing at the Riverwalk project in Nashua, NH. The first night, and every night after, were great successes.
We had hoped to develop the local salsa community, to highlight the cultures that contributed to salsa and other Latin dances, and to work towards developing awareness and support for relevant social justice issues. 2020, however, changed plans for all of us!
Regardless, we wanted to honor our anniversary with a donation to an organization that supports values inherent in our salsa community. The beauty of Salsa is that we can meet friends from all sorts of backgrounds, ethnicities, and walks of life. The salsa community is Open-to-All. We chose MIRA because they work in New England to promote the rights of immigrants and refugees and to continue to make our nation Open-to-All. Please consider supporting them.
