Hey dear people!

A great way to stay warm these days is to come out dancing!
Next dance we have special guests:
Sarah Gibson calling, and the Ruth and Ben band playing (Ruth Rappaport, Ben Wetherbee, Joel Wennerstrom, and Gian Criscitiello).

Friday, February 2nd

Sliding scale $7-20
A little different this time: we're having trouble making ends meet and have decided to ask for a donation of $3 per kid that comes.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. This is a community supported event and gathers no outside funding beyond those who attend the dance and can contribute financially. THANK YOU for coming and giving what you can. We want to see this dance continue as it is a community-enriching event and sees our younger generations learning to dance, getting exposed to live musicians, and offers a great fun social time interacting with community members multi-generationally.

The rest as usual - bring your friends and family! Jamming in the basement as always, self-starting and open to everyone.

Check it out! Not-so-Secret Show at the Montague Common Hall this coming Friday featuring Vaiano's Paisanos from TN and NOLA playing Italian, Caribbean and Cape Verdean string band music you've probably never heard before! Opening with local band the Slide Grinders (well known from the Montague square dance) playing Old-Time tunes and songs, and perhaps a novelty number or two. See ya there.
