Gothess Gothess is a creation from Luz Mar Navarro (DJ Q). It's a goth night that celebrates diversity in the goth community. Gothess is a inclusive goth dance night.

The Creator of Gothess is Mari Navarro(They/Them) a Latinx Queer. The dj altar highlights the talent of BIPOC & LGBTQ+ DJ's & Artist. It is important to bring diversity into the goth scene. It’s always unsettling when loss comes around. Especially knowing that Dolly Parton and Tim Curry really shaped and impacted OUR q***r communities in so many ways.

This Friday I decided to have it be a night of solace for us. We will celebrate and honor both these icons, playing plenty of songs by Dolly Parton and honoring Tim’s Curry’s Rocky Horror q***r flair. These two made such an everlasting mark in our q***r history. And, they will continue to do so through us.

The loss of these two on the same week up against everything the q***r community is navigating can be overwhelming. So, check in with one another, don’t isolate. Be with your community if you can! With that said, the Gothess door is always open to anyone in need of soft place to land. And if you need a reminder, yes you are loved, missed, and valuable! If you need a hug this Friday just ask, I give some good ones. 🙂

Looking forward to this Friday celebrating Dolly Parton and Tim Curry! Heaven just got more q***r!
