THE END OF AN ERA

i guess we should just wrap it up.

this probably shocks and saddens you. imagine how I feel. there goes my gym buddy, dinner date, neighbor, co-hand model, twentieth best employee, co-chismosa, punching bag, business partner, best friend.

ANYWAY, KEEPING IT SHORT. PARTY ON THE 24TH.

i guess if we made it through getting closed down for being criminals and slandered for a year because everyone is stupid (except the like 3ppl including pictured who kept faith), then I guessssss we’ll be okay.

i dont feel okay, chat.

ashley came to us a child, fresh out of the nursery. we, the wolves, raised her into something more fierce than we could ever imagine. it’s been so great to grow together, and we hope the absolute best for her in her hour commute to manhattan every day to work at a sh*ttier bar than ours.

PARTY ON THE 24TH. SHELL GIVE DETAILS BECAUSE SHES THE ONE WHO WORKS.

CHEFS NIGHT OFF

on june 15th, join us for a once in a lifetime experience at over under as joins us for a dinner for the ages.

an eight course culinary journey through land and sea and then sea again and then some more sea and a little bit of land but lots of sea.

special pairings and beverage selections by the visionary minds of one of the nations top beverage teams.

THIS IS AN ACTUAL SPECIAL DINNER EVENT.

tix on sale through link in bio. menu in stories and in reservation page. we’ll be closed that day. this is going to crush, and you’d be actual big sad to miss it. obviously limited seating available since the dining room has like 4 tables.

FRIED.

we know we have by far the best (bar) food in town/state/world/whatever, but we also know where our biscuits get buttered.

we hand cut and prepare fresh fries all day and all the time. sometimes in this horrible world we’re all forced to endure, the simple pleasures go a long way.

you can even make a reservation now. you also could before, but we’d like it if you did. guarantee a seat for that juicy burger or the other crazy stuff these boys put out.

STEAK TARTARE

really enjoying this season of the ovie un**es. cast and crew been a real joy.

just such amazing talented people. .euree has returned as king of the hill after working at every fancy stupid restaurant in miami. he’s been hard at work with team to update the menu. here’s one of the best new news.

steak tartare: top round wagyu beef, apple cider vinaigrette, mustard, plantain chips.

we have reservations live through resy now starting on valentines day.

there’s a special fixed price menu for the special day, but of course the ala carte menu will be available for those who hate us or don’t have a date like me.

FISH AND GRITS # #

florida catfish, marsh hen mill grits with florida sweet corn folded in, a smoked cherry tomato gravy, and some fried capers and tarragon.

i don’t want to overcaption this homemade plate.

it’s on the menu now for $23.

i think over under season six is going back to doing more stuff like this. local, wild, approachable, affordable (for the quality. don’t @ me).

CAN YOU IMAGINE

stuck hosting karaoke on my 40th birthday. embracing that.

been too busy/lazy/stupid to promote karaoke better lately, but i think it’s fun. we don’t let wil host anymore.

working on making it better all the time. think we might stream it (if the music companies don’t hit me for arrest 3). some themes and guest hosts upcoming. I even downloaded three or four new songs this month.

this is all the attention I need, plz don’t talk to me irl.

OPEN 7 DAYS AGAIN

we got a lot done on our mondays break, but my peace has quieted.

there’s sound absorption and a new floor in the front and things are reupholstered and fixed. i think they’re even tinting the storefront right now.

so plz plz plz come by tonight so I don’t get in trouble for only posting this three hours before opening.
