Otaku's near future is empty. However, it WILL return. It is a primary element of my own future. I hope everyone who enjoyed it the first time will get to witness the second coming!!

The future of Otaku has been in question and uncertainty for quite some time. To all those hoping for its return, I apologize. At this point, there is no forseeable future.

Eventually, Otaku will return. But it will take time and preparation that I myself must use for other items for now.

The good news is that others saw it work. The desire for such an outlet for fans was seen. Inspiration has been sparked. Hopefully, the Anime fan community will get the home they deserve.

I appreciate all the love, care, and support from all throughout the time. The ones who went above and beyond to help hold a special spot in my heart. I loved every moment!

It was a great experience and I truly hope to bring it back at some point!

If for no other reason, I loved watching so many come together. People crawled out of their shells and felt free to be themselves. I hope all of you carry on the friendships forged at Otaku. Take care!

There have been more setbacks with finding Otaku a new home. Right now, we are looking into investor/partner options. If interested please contact John Wood and look for a post on his page soon with more detail.

Otaku will be relocating in the near future. We're shopping areas and hoping to find a better location that is food prep ready. Sadly there were just too many hurdles to overcome at the first location to get Otaku to where it needs to be in order to sustain itself.

We'll keep you posted as we secure a location and move in.

Otaku will be closed for the next few weeks or more in order to address issues for future growth. There will be many changes during this time and we'll keep you updated on them as they approach.
