Bad Luck, Please Stop. 😩

Apparently, our streak of bad luck isn't quite finished yet. 😔

We are currently dealing with an unexpected bat situation inside The Spot and are waiting for our bat removal professional to come help us get the little guy safely out of the building.

Because of this, tonight’s opening is postponed until further notice. We absolutely cannot open our doors until we know the bat is gone and the building is safe.

We honestly don’t even know what to say anymore. Between the tornado, flooding, insurance, contractors, repairs, trying to keep our business going, and now THIS… we are exhausted, stressed, and feeling pretty defeated. 💔

We know we’ve had to close or change our hours far too many times lately, and we cannot tell you how sorry we are. We know it’s frustrating for you, and believe us, it’s incredibly frustrating for us too. We want nothing more than to have our doors open, pour your drinks, see your faces, and get back to some sense of normal.

But apparently The Spot has one more adventure to get through. 🦇🤦‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us, be patient with us, and understand that we are doing everything we can. We promise we will update you as soon as we know more.

Fingers crossed this is the LAST chapter of this ridiculous streak. ❤️

A LITTLE LATE, BUT HERE WE ARE ❤️

It’s been quite a week—or honestly, quite a few weeks—around here. Between everything our community has been navigating after the tornado, family, the business, and just trying to keep all the balls in the air, I’ll admit… social media hasn’t been at the top of my list. ❤️

But we’re here, we’re grateful, and we’re ready for another week at The Spot.

A Little Change of Plans Tonight ❤️

We’re so sorry, but Mother Nature has thrown us another curveball. We’re currently dealing with some water issues at home after the storms, and we need to take care of things here before we can safely open The Spot tonight.

At this point, we may be opening late or possibly needing to remain closed tonight. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

We truly apologize for the last-minute change and appreciate your understanding. ❤️ We promise we’re doing our best to keep things running while navigating everything that’s been thrown our way lately.

Thank you for continuing to support us and for being so understanding. We’ll keep you posted. 🍸

💙 A Little Update From The Spot

What a night. 💙

Tonight was our first night featuring The Blue Jay Margarita, and we are so incredibly grateful for the turnout. We sold 38 Blue Jays tonight, and had some extra generous donations ❤️‍🩹with 100% of the proceeds going to the Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society to help our neighbors who have been impacted by the tornado. Thank you to everyone who came in and supported this—it means more than you know.

We also want to apologize to anyone who stopped by after we had already closed tonight. Our hours right now are limited to 5–9 PM, with last call at 8:30 PM, due to the current curfew and everything we are still trying to balance at home and at The Spot.

We know these hours aren't always convenient, and we truly are sorry when we can't accommodate someone who stops in. But this is what our hours need to look like right now. We are still dealing with contractors, insurance, repairs, our home, and the aftermath of the tornado, all while trying to keep The Spot going.

For the next several weeks, our hours may be limited or sporadic, and we will do our very best to keep Facebook updated so everyone knows when we're here. We just ask for a little patience and understanding while we navigate all of this.

We are incredibly thankful to still have a place to gather, laugh, have a cocktail, and support one another. Menasha Strong. 💙

And if you didn't get a chance to try one tonight, The Blue Jay Margarita will be our $9 feature cocktail for the rest of the month, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society. 💙

We're Open This Weekend 💙
After a long and emotional week, we're happy to open our doors again.
The Spot on Main will be open: Friday & Saturday | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Last call at 8:30 PM

❤️ We're Reopening This Friday & Saturday ❤️

After one of the hardest weeks we've ever experienced, we're grateful to finally say that The Spot will reopen this Friday and Saturday from 5:00–9:00 PM.

Like so many of our neighbors, we've been trying to put the pieces back together after the tornado. We just had power restored at our home, and we're finally able to start getting settled there while also working hard to restock The Spot and prepare to welcome everyone back.

As much as we were looking forward to hosting Cousins Maine Lobster, we've decided to reschedule them for a later date. Right now, we feel it's best to keep traffic in and out of Menasha to a minimum while our community continues to recover and the cleanup efforts remain underway.

We also ask for a little patience and grace. Like so many others, we are completely exhausted—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Between the devastation, the cleanup, being without power, trying to get our home back together, and reopening the business, we know we're not quite ourselves right now. We're doing our very best, and we're so thankful for your understanding.

If you're coming to visit us this weekend, please be careful. There are still utility crews, emergency responders, volunteers, and neighbors working tirelessly throughout the city. Recovery is far from over, and we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Because of the current curfew, our hours this weekend will be:
Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

There aren't enough words to express how thankful we are. To everyone who has checked on us, offered a helping hand, supported our business, prayed for our community, or simply shown kindness during this unimaginable time—thank you. You've reminded us what a truly special community we live in.

Opening our doors again is about so much more than serving drinks. It's about reconnecting, seeing familiar faces, sharing stories, and taking one small step toward normal together.

We can't wait to welcome you back. ❤️
