Monchong is a deep-water fish best known in Hawaii, prized for its mild flavor, firm texture, and beautiful large flakes. It has a naturally rich, moist quality without being overly “fishy,” making it a great choice whether you love seafood or want to branch out beyond the usual choices.
Chef Ben gives it a flavorful blackened crust and serves it over rice with roasted asparagus for a dish that’s light, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s a unique feature — and not something you’ll find on many menus around here.

🌶️ Blistered Shish*to Peppers — $12 If you haven’t tried shish*to peppers yet, this is your sign. They’re mild, smoky, slightly sweet and wonderfully unpredictable — most are very mild, but every once in a while, you get one with a little extra heat. That perfect combination of savory, sweet, salty, smoky and crunchy. They’re unique. They’re shareable. And they’re the kind of appetizer where you suddenly realize the whole plate is gone.
